One of the more popular TV models, No. It is interesting that Benbros called this model a Tractor whereas today it would probably be termed a truck. The real vehicle was an off-road, four-wheel drive heavy duty machine and Benbros emphaised this by including a dowel which, by scale, was a very large load. The tractor was a simple two-part casting comprising the body, painted red or green, and the black base section which included mudguards, axle holders, and a rear hook. Attached by an unpainted towbar, the trailer was a simple 'girder-style' design with six wheels and four upright timber supports.

Like these the first version of No. Benbros soon recast this to include a seat for the remaining models. The Trailer in the first issue was a low-level green model with unpainted metal wheels, the underside of which was quite smooth without identification, unusual for Benbros. It was a single casting including the towbar which attached to the little hook at the rear of the tractor. At about this time Benbros was switching all models into the Mighty Midget range and the tractor colour changed to deep yellow for the new box but kept the same green trailer. There was still no identification on the tractor or trailer.
These are from my own, large, personal childhood collection, collected between - 61 These models were never finished off as well as there contemporary Matchbox models. There are a few chips to the original yellow paint on the tractor but the trailer paintwork is perfect. Both towing hook on the tractor and towing eye on the trailer are unbroken. The model comes in its original box which has all inner and outer flaps present.
